The Practical Training Center at An-Najah National University proudly announces the successful placement of 182 accomplished male and female students through its pioneering "Training for Employment" project. This strategic initiative, aimed at bridging the gap between academia and industry, has resulted in significant employment opportunities for graduates across various disciplines. Notably, the Faculties of Engineering and Information Technology, as well as Economics and Social Sciences, have witnessed the highest influx of placements.

Initiated on September 11, 2022, the "Training for Employment" project represents a pivotal shift in the Center's approach, focusing on empowering students to showcase their skills and competence during practical training sessions. This proactive engagement not only enriches students' learning experiences but also positions them favorably for potential employment avenues within the partnering institutions and companies.

Mr. Imad Al-Qassim, Director of the Training Center at An-Najah University, remarked that the project's resounding success owes much to the collaboration with 39 diverse companies and institutions hailing from various business sectors. The project thrives on ongoing interaction with these partners, continually identifying opportunities and vacancies suitable for students' skill sets. This fruitful rapport is bolstered by the Center's robust network of alumni, many of whom currently hold key positions within these organizations.

Established in 2013, the Practical Training Center consistently serves approximately 2,500 students annually, hailing from a spectrum of 56 majors across eight faculties. These faculties encompass Engineering and Information Technology, Economics and Social Sciences, Fine Arts, Sciences, Medicine and Health Sciences, Shari'ah, Agriculture, and Veterinary Medicine.

The Center's expansive influence extends to all sectors within Palestine, encompassing private and public entities, civil society, and non-governmental organizations. With connections to an extensive pool of around 2,800 companies and institutions, the Center is dedicated to sourcing valuable training prospects for students within the region. Furthermore, the Center's global affiliations with Arab and international institutions have facilitated overseas training opportunities, broadening the horizons for An-Najah University students.

The remarkable achievements of the "Training for Employment" project underscore An-Najah National University's commitment to fostering industry-ready graduates and cultivating enduring partnerships with the corporate world. As the Practical Training Center continues to steer innovation and excellence, it remains a beacon of transformative education, propelling students towards professional success on both local and international stages.
