Program Description

The Palestinian agricultural sector serves as the foundational cornerstone of the Palestinian economy, complementing the industrial sector's contributions through local production and workforce engagement. This sector plays a pivotal role in ensuring food security for the Palestinian community by absorbing labor and addressing unemployment challenges. The deep-rooted connection of Palestinian citizens to their land and reliance on locally produced goods requires continued development to enhance competitiveness.

Program Objectives:

• Align agricultural education with the recommendations of the Arab Agricultural Engineers Union.
• Stay abreast of technological advancements in the agricultural field.
• Optimize and enhance agricultural processes to meet the needs of the Palestinian market, ensuring profitability for farmers and the treasury.
• Address challenges faced by farmers through efficient management and development of agricultural practices to boost national agricultural output.
• Leverage human, research, and laboratory resources within the Faculty and University.
• Empower agricultural engineers to transfer modern technology and apply it to benefit the Palestinian agricultural sector.
